Maysun Kellow - Project Management
Since 2010, Maysun Kellow has worked with Iris Stöber to establish the Atelierhof Werenzhain e.V. as a permanent location for visual arts in Lower Lusatia. Her many years of experience in local art and cultural work gave rise to the idea for a cross-county art format. In cooperation with Michaela van den Driesch, Maysun Kellow is leading the process of realising the openart Lausitz Biennale. She is the managing director of the project.

Michaela van den Driesch – Artistic Director
Born in Dresden, Michaela van den Driesch works as a freelance artist, art and architectural historian, and author. She studied art in Dresden and art history, archaeology, and philosophy in Heidelberg and Berlin. From the 1990s onwards, she produced architectural history reports on important buildings and realised numerous artistic and curatorial projects in Berlin, Lusatia, and internationally.

Laila Lille Khayati - Deputy Project Manager
Laila Lille Khayati was deputy to the management of Anupama Kundoo Atelier GmbH (Berlin), was responsible for sustainable construction projects and organised contributions to the Rotterdam Biennale 2022, the award ceremony for sustainable architecture in Paris 2022 and the Chicago Architecture Biennale 2023. In 2023, she also realised the exhibition ‘Roger Anger, L'artiste’ in Auroville (India) and coordinated the Marcus Steinweg office in Berlin.

Christin Botzenhard - Technical Director
Christin Botzenhard studied architecture in Kiel and Marseille. She works as a stage designer and prop master and is responsible for sets for theatre and music festivals as well as art exhibitions. Her work has long been influenced by her exploration of ‘lost places.’ In Lusatia, she is also connecting with the history of her Sorbian ancestors.

Luise Walter - Head of Young Art
Luise Walter is a freelance artist. From 2001 to 2008, she studied media art at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig. Since 2014, she has been working in cultural education with children, young people and adults, particularly in the fields of painting, ceramics and photography.

Jan Henselder - Image scientist
As an image scientist, Jan Henselder develops intermedia strategies for archives, art and museums. As part of his research project ‘Fragments of Yesterday – Securing Evidence’, he investigates new forms of knowledge representation at the interface between scientific theory and artistic practice.

Caroline Kühne – Assistant to the Artistic Director
Caroline Kühne studied art and visual history, French and art history in Berlin. From 2022, she was a research assistant and then curator for painting, graphic art and sculpture at the Brandenburg State Museum of Modern Art in Cottbus. She is also pursuing a doctorate at the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.

Berit Lehmann – Office
Berit Lehmann has many years of experience as an executive secretary. Rooted in the Elbe-Elster district and associated with the Atelierhof Werenzhain for many years, she supports the openart Lausitz Biennale in the area of office management.
